    Question OCR Development

    Hi friends

    i need to read text from image. Nearly Converting Image to Text and for that i need to have an OCR but really have no idea of OCR Development .... or is there any free OCR dll or OCX .... if there then do help me

    Also any techniques to wtite OCR or the functions of OCR ....

    No voice in that .................so help needed.........

    Check out my sample code in this thread. It's far from finished but it could give you the idea. The effectiveness of an OCR system heavily depends on the quality of the image, too.
