    Scheduled Task

Is there a way to setup a scheduled task so that say every 20 mins a php file on my web server is executed?

What I'm trying to do is download stock prices automatically every 20 mins then manipulatre the data to my required format (which I've already done) then save the info into my SQL database. (have done this part already as well)

    Thanks.

    Re: Scheduled Task

If you are using linux then you can setup a cron job to execute the script at regular intervals.

    Re: Scheduled Task

You should also be able to do this using scheduled tasks on a windows server. This is a server configuration no matter what OS the server is, so you're going to have to have access to it somehow or another.
