I will be graduating in May, and will have a bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems and Business Administration. I am contemplating whether or not to get my Master's or not. Just want to get everyone's thoughts on the subject. Worth it or not?? I've been told both ways. Thanks

Well, I'm gonna be in your position in about 2 years time including an industrial placement, and I've been wondering the same thing. If I do well (ie get a first or a 2:1) then I could go and be a contractor for a while and see what takes my fancy while earning piles of cash at the same time. Alternatively, if I get less than that (which would disappoint me) I think I shall probably either persue a masters (if they'd let me) or go and do another degree in a seperate subject, probably maths or physics, or both.

I think it depends on how sure you are of what you want to be doing after your formal education is finished. If you know what you want to do and you have the opportunity then I would say go for it; you may well be better educated in your selected field on-the-job anyway. If you are still not sure then maybe carry on with your education until you know what you want to do.

Of course, I should mention that it takes a first or a masters to stand out from the crowd nowadays.
