Re: i am always having to log back in
Did this start with the change to VBulletin 3? As far as I know this is not a new "feature" and so far nobody else has reported the same behaviour. I looked at your account and everything seems OK. Could this be a problem with your server or firewall?

Re: i am always having to log back in
I havent changed any of my settings in a while. yes this did start happening when the forum upgraded.
I am going to try setting my cookie to read-only and see if that workds
PS: I had soem trubble a while back that i couldn't log out these two may be related

ok, setting the cookie to read-only didn't work, it just disgarded the old cookie and made a new one

Have you tried loggin out and log back in? Also this might be a long short but is your computer's time & date set correctly?

Re: i am always having to log back in
I suggest trying to clear your cookies. I know the forum will indicate you are logged out after a given non-active period; however, if you have "remember me" checked then when you come back or do something, you should automagically be logged back in.
Try clearing the cookie so a new one is created.
Brad!

It happens to me now with the new version if I have my anonyminity software up and running. Otherwise its keeping me logged in. I rather dislike turning off my GhostSurf everytime I come to the forum tho.

Re: i am always having to log back in
Is there anyway we can change the non-active period? I asked this question a long time ago and the response i received was that it didn't have anything to do with vbforums.

I could be wrong, but as far as I can tell, there isn't one.

Re: i am always having to log back in
Should be at 15minutes, it was before the upgrade anyway, not too sure yet if its the same but it seems to be around the same area. Its logged me out once so far when I didn't think 15minutes was up so it could be between 10 & 15 minutes with the upgrade.
BTW Marty I don't believe it will be a setting but rather built into the software wheer it sets the cookies. Don't know that for sure there could be an option but I suspect there isn't .
EDIT: Yea its exactly 15minutes, I just saw Electrobob log out eventually after being inactive for 15minutes.
