User Status Icon
How much work would it be to add the ONLINE NOW icon to each thread on each page? Something to let us know that the thread starter is online, wanting to discuss his/her post? It'd be cool when looking at old posts.
If the user were online, we could ask if the thread has been resolved, or offer addiitional support, if needed.

Were you meaning in the thread or on the forum listings? As pino said there is already one in the thread itself .
When your thread has been resolved please edit the original post in the thread ( )
and amend "-[RESOLVED]-" to the end of the title and change the icon to , Thank you.

Right now it shows off line...but I am not sure if you maybe are off line too...because you are not in the list on Who's on line, but that might be because you are in stealt mode...not sure...

Re: User Status Icon
I guess dglienna means having an indicator next to the thread starters name on the forum listings. Yeah that would be cool i guess. This way you wouldn't have to check out the main index to see if the user was on or into the thread itself.

Re: User Status Icon
Yes, but there is already allot of indicators at the forums view. What difference
would the thread starter being online make. You could still reply to the post anyways.

Re: User Status Icon
Its just that sometimes you might hang out for an extra minute before going offline if you have posted to their thread and know that they are still online.
I would rather see a text indicator as opposed to an icon/picture. It seems already people are missing what the symbols are representing.

Re: User Status Icon
It's all about tooltips now.
I assume that now my icon will show me that I'm invisible, show you that I'm offline, and show the mods that I'm invisible.
