    Question Software Deployment Process

    Hi all,

    I am writing a paper on the Sofwtare Deployment Process and I need a few ideas about the importance of Software Deployment in general. Could you provide me with some? Unable to find on the web why it's important.

    Also, it would be great if you have some ideas as to what the major problems of the software deployment process are. I was able to find some of those but not sure that I covered all.

    For those who don't know what the sofwtare deployemtn process is, it's basically all the activities regarding installation, updating the installed sofwtare, uninstalling, etc.
