    ripping chapters off of cd

    I have one of those Sony video cameras that records to mini DVD discs. My friend and I are making a video so we need to edit multiple clips, what software would I need to take these chapters of the dvd and put them onto my computer?

    each time i start and stop recording it makes a seperate chapter btw

    didn't it come with software?

    what type of connection do you have to the PC? is it firewire/usb? or do you actually just take the mini discs and put them in your dvd drive?

    My SONY Digital (tape) camera (firewire) came with a load of software.
