    maximize IE window on start?

Is it possible to make IE windows be in maximized state when you open a new window? I wanna have the window maximized when I click on a link and a new window opens etc... any registry/policy settings for this?

Extract thumbnail without reading the whole image file: (C# - VB)
Apply texture to bitmaps: (C# - VB)
    Extended console library: (VB)
Save JPEG with a certain quality (image compression): (C# - VB )
    VB.NET to C# conversion tips!!

Right click on the ICON, not the shortcut, choose Properties, and select MAXIMIZED. I just created another shortcut to modify, as my VBForum shortcut started wrong.

    Try this:

Open a new Windows Explorer window and set it how you like it i.e. Maximised, status bar etc. and then click the Tools menu -> Folder Options... -> View -> Apply to All Folders.

This should then set all new windows including IE windows to appear how you set it. Works for the status bar trick anyway.
I use Microsoft Visual Basic 2005. (Therefore, most code samples I provide will be based around the .NET Framework v2.0, unless otherwise specified)

hmmm thanks a lot for your solution Ideas Man.... umm but I like to keep the regular win explorer windows in normal state, not maximized. I guess there isn't a proper way to have IE maximized and not change the win explorer windows.

Well, the next best thing is to close IE and then open one instance of it, either maximize or resize it so it takes up all the available space and then close it. It should save the settings and remember it.

Re: maximize IE window on start?

same here. I was going to put the link into the shortcut that I made from the icon, instead of using the shortcut that I made out of the link. there may be some way to have them all open maximized, but i don't know it.
