    Which Mouse?

I had an optical cordless mouse a while ago but it blew up 2 sets of batteries and leaked acid all over the insides.
Im now back to my old scroll mouse that came free in the post
I'd forgotten how quickly dirt build up and how useless it gets

Im going to get a non-cordless optical mouse, but which one?
Should I splash out for a fancy one with lots of features or just go for the bog standard?

£37.99, Gaming mouse with 1600 dpi

    £5.99, Left/Right Click and a scroll wheel

My mate has one he imported from Japan. The mouse itself is cordless, but theree is a thin cord between the PC and the mousemat. There must be some sort of induction coil thing going on between the mouse and the mat because there is no battery compartment in the mouse.

Its optical too, and it truly PWNS j000.

Dead expensive though it cost him 200 quid to ship it over.

so where is the real advantage, if it still needs to be phsically connected to the PC in some way?

Beats me, maybe its a prototype. Perhaps you've got to drill a hole in your desk and poke the wire through.

    A mouse hole

    *sigh*

    I need sleep.
