Isn't there one that comes with .NET? There is one in my version.
Also, I don't like the emulator. Use an actual PDA if you can, but I assume that's what your fiance wouldn't lend you.

There is definitely one in Visual Studio .NET 2003. You may be able to find additional ones online, but if you are doing standard Pocket PC or WinCE apps, the default immulator works just like the real thing.

Re: PDA Emulator
I think that Smart Device support comes with the Professional edition or above, not sure. I agree with Shaggy Hiker that one must test on a real device, it's just not the same.
The emulator I have, that shipped with VS 2003, is Windows Mobile 2002, 2003 is the modern version, but I don't know how to upgrade the emulator. Anybody know?
Emulator is good for simple testing, and when the sales guys steal your device.

Re: PDA Emulator
Yeah thanks guys. About two seconds after asking, I discovered the integrated one and got so engrossed in building a completely useless application to run on hubby's pda I forgot to remove the message :frog:

Re: PDA Emulator [resolved]
can any emulator emulate the PDA's wireless adaptor on a desktop's wireless adaptor?
i want to develop an application that connects a PDA to a server (Desktop) using WiFi, but i don't have a PDA available. so, i want to run an emulator on a PC and make to communicate with the server, is this possible?
Do anybody have information about the code required to make a network connection no the PDA?
thanks in advance
