Anyone know what the scroll-lock button does (Apart from make the light next to caps-lock come on)
Someone asked me this and I was ... well ... stumped!

yeah, It means that the numeric keypad can be used to scroll around (like the arrow keys) rather than just as numbers
If it wasn't for this sentence I wouldn't have a signature at all.

Strangely enough it's for scrolling, Sam's right.

Hey, some kind soul told me today. It is for scrolling. Eg. Open excel. When you press down, the block moves. When you put scroll-lock on, then the page scrolls instead of the block moving!

I just learned something..hehee
The only time i seen the light actually come on..was when windows would crash on me...and i would do one of those *press every button on the keyboard and something might happen* thing.
