    Question Strange systray app

    Never seen this icon before - anyone happen to know what it is? Has an IP address when hovered over; I'm assuming it's remote assistance or something?
    Rather intrigued - it all happened after someone tried some form of DCOM vulnerability (avast! picked it up)

    ashMaisrv.exe - apparently avast! email protection. Strange though; I have no email apps open

    I had that too! And I was about to post, but I thought it was Thunderbird (Mozilla / owner of Mozilla email client). Yeah, I also have avast. That clears up things. I was like ***, an IP address, hmm a virus.

    Oh yeah also I don't have any email apps open..
