Oracle Tools
I was just wondering what you people use for an interface to Oracle and what tools are available. I'm being given access to an Oracle server (I don't know any of the specifications and I've never worked with an Oracle server before). I've been using MS SQL Server up to this point and I really like the feel of the Enterprise Manager and I was hoping there was a similar tools for Oracle.
So does anyone have any suggestions?

TOAD by Quest software is the what I and many other developers live by. A fanatical following exists for the software.

Its a bit expensive, but worth every penny in my opinion.
It began as freeware, so there is an older freeware version available somewhere too.

Hmm its been a while but I believe it was about $2000 for the Xpert edition I use. The standard edition I think is $700-800. But it all depends which functionality you want. The sql tuning offered by the Xpert edition sold me on that edition, basically click one button and whatch it re-write your sql for best performance.
