Sanskrit is the written version of an ancient Indian
language. The actual sounds of the language are totally
unknown....we have only the written. Sanskrit is believed
by many to be the first (and only) truly holy language.

Attic Greek was the Greek spoken prior to the heyday of the
Athens and Sparta. It dates to around the time of Homer
(900BC ???) and the Trojan War. No one knows the
pronounciation of it either. It is known, however, that it
differed from the current Greek pronounciation, known as
    Koine.

Ask Honeybee. Do a web search on Sanskrit. Learn how to
    divide by 0.

Sorry, Honeybee, but linguistics experts believe that the
current pronounciations are different from the
pronounciations of the original. Something about the
    dipthong changes.
