Resolved Flash mem or Ext USB HD removal![Resolved]

After I'm done with my flash mem or the external USB HD , I unplug it without doing the safety removal in the sys tray .

Would this lead to any damages later on (physically or data lose) ?

I believe it can only damage it if you remove it while it's being used. I always remove mine when I'm finished with it and it's not being accessed.

I've never had a problem unplugging things, as long as they were not in use. Close the files, or Windows Dialog, wait a second, and then you can unplug it. The button just makes sure that the device isn't being used first.
