Anecdotal evidence
The best kind of evidence!
well, I dunno but just before my grandfather died I had a dream (more like a nighmare) where I was brushing my teeth and then I look up the mirror and then there, instead of my face was my grandmother's face (who had been dead since my mum was 11). whenever she tried to tell me something her face always turned to a skull. I screamed my head off and my mum and sister came in and asked what was wrong. I just pointed at the mirror and I could still see her trying to tell me something. My mum and sister couldn't see her, and they kept saying "There's nothing there..." and then I woke up... and then several months later we got a phone call that my grandfather was hosptalized. And then he died about a week later. *gets spooked*
Now there's some rock hard stuff!

Someone better catch on to the irony of offering a single example of an anecdote being wrong.

Yes indeed. Last night I had a dream that Yasser Arafat had died, many days earlier.

This morning I had the amazing premonition that it would be cold outside so I put on my coat. Imagine my amazement when, upon stepping out the front door, a cold blast of air assailed me.
I have some strange feeling that the weather may have been similar some time in the past, around LAST NOVEMBER! How weird is that?
Had I not been examining the evidence presented to me by my senses I might have frozen to death on the way up to the bus stop. Thank god for eyes and skin and stuff.
I don't live here any more.

I make one prediction per day, and it's always right.
Who'da thunk the sun would rise every time I predicted it?
