i want to make a little program in vb 6 where this connects to the internet and compares the time of my computer with the time at a site like worldtimeserver.com!

any ideas how i do that ?

Winsock can connect to internet pc's and can run time commands.

yes winsock can do that but i do not know how to do that !

You need to know what port they use to send time data
