    Resolved computer being extremely noisy{resolved}

    The fan in my computer sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Lately it has been making very loud anoying sounds. I was thinking of either replacing the fans or getting a can of air and blowing it out. Anyone have any suggestions?

    Replace it, if it is an important fan i.e. CPU fan, GPU fan, replace immediatly.
    I use Microsoft Visual Basic 2005. (Therefore, most code samples I provide will be based around the .NET Framework v2.0, unless otherwise specified)

    i cooked a cpu when the secondary fan quit working. The fan on the back of the computer was working, but clogged up a bit, and things got too hot. I agree, replace it immediately!

    I fried my GPU because of a faulty fan, tis really sad too, because then i had to downgrade it a fair bit

    My fan never did work from the start. You had to manually get the thing to going each time you got on. So it looks like I will replace it.
