    Usb 2

    Hi...

    I have intel 845WN motherboard .. and it supports USB2 .. but the current working is USB 1 , though I installed the drivers of the motherboard ... I asked some friend .. he told me that i have to install the driver from any other motherboard driver that support USB2 .. is that right ??? if no what am I supposed to do ??

    you may be able to flash the BIOS of your computer to upgrade it, if there is an upgrade available.

    There is a special patch Microsoft released that provied USB 2.0 compatability. If you are running Windows XP, it is highly recommended that you download and install Windows XP Service Pack 2, this will include the required patch (It is included in SP1 also I think). If you are using a different version of Windows, check Microsoft Windows Update for the patch.
    I use Microsoft Visual Basic 2005. (Therefore, most code samples I provide will be based around the .NET Framework v2.0, unless otherwise specified)

    I also use the 845wn motherboard ,is thier a way of telling what usb am using ie 1 or 2 .

    Did you try Googling it? Have a look on the motherboard's site and best of all, look at the manual, that's why you have one.
