    You ever wonder...

    How a compressed bitmap is smaller than a jpeg, but has a better picture? Doesn't that kindof.. destroy the point of a jpeg?

    Compressed bitmap? And maybe Jpeg was invented before the compressed version of the bitmap... And... Why do people create alternatives to formats? Why would anyone be stupid enough to create another operating system... It's a matter of choice...
