    Telnet through proxy

    I'm looking for a way to foward a telnet connection to a server (at school so over a http proxy, I think the school is also running a socks server.)

    Telnet->My Laptop at school->http proxy->telnet server

    Well if they're using a HTTP proxy, then its going to be expecting HTTP commands. If you ask it to request from somehost on port 21, then it'll connect all-right, but it'll relay HTTP commands and then cut you off I'd imagine...
