Wow, are you missing out There are sooooooo many meat-based delicasies that I just couldn't live without, like kebabs for starters. Then there's pepperoni on pizza, bacon and eggs, sausages, chicken salad sandwiches, chilli con carne, bacon double cheeseburgers, Kentucky fried chicken, chicken kievs..... I just couldn't have it any other way.

Were you brought up vegetarian or did it just kind of develop?

(Don't worry I'm not trying to convert you or anything )

Yeah I think that's probably it. I mean I can see that you don't like the idea if you've never really thought of it as normal. I have never eaten offal of any kind, except occasionally in steak and kidney pie and I don't realy like it, and I just hate the thought of eating it.

Have you ever tried it? Not that it matters much to me When/if you have kids though, do them a favour and don't bring them up vegetarian

I love the Outback Steak house. It's even better when you go during a slow time. They serve you fresh baked bread and butter while you wait for the main course. Yummmmm.... And the prime rib is really juicy. Well, I think I know where I'm going out to this weekend...

    HOLY CRAP MAN
    it was just a question
since some religions in india believe the cow to be sacred
    and they dont eat cow
    IT WAS ONLY A QUESTION

I don't know why you try to relate everything (at least most of them) to religion. Trying to tease me?
well let me see why i related to religion/belief system
the above reason, and the fact that my religion says dont eat certain meats i thought yours said dont eat meat at all

and no why would i tease you? you took it WAY to offensively, when i simply asked a question
    SORRY
    gee

well, not any type of meat,
first I have to know what it is, if it's something like a dog or a cat... then I won't eat it...
I have never been offered a dog or a cat, and am glad for that..

but anything you can buy in stores, or is safe to eat... yep I'll eat it...

though, make sure you take the legs off.

Believe it or not, roaches are relatively tasteless. The
chitin extremely high in proteins, and the damn things are
ubiquitous. What more could you want?

    Yuck.

I'll stick to beef and chicken. Where I come from they are 'ubiquitous' too. (Had to look that word up to see what it meant, so I decided to use it in a sentence.)

Yes. Also, grasshoppers (fried), ants (in chocolate),
collie (stewed), 'possum (fried), and rattlesnake (baked).

Never had haggis, though. Sounds too nasty for words.

No worm omelettes DerFarm? You disappoint me

Personally, I would eat cat, I don't know about dog. I wouldn't eat any kind of insect by choice, except maybe a honey ant (or whatever they're called). Not exactly sure what a possum is, but I probably would. Tried ostrich, it's a bit dry. Maybe it was just the cut I had, I'm not sure.

I've heard that over the course of their life, the average person eats something like 10 spiders during their sleep, so in all probability I have eaten a spider or two by now. Also, flies due to cycling down hills, but those are both involuntary so I guess they don't count.
