Transferring Programs
Hello Everyone:
I would like to know if and how I can copy a program that is on a computer to a CD? I.E. if I have installed a program on a computer but no longer have the original CD, is there a program that will allow me to make a new CD of the program on my computer?
Thanks

This can be damn tricky. If it simply copied file to a certain directory, then it's easy. just shove them on a CD. If the program also made registry entries, then you'll have to export them and shove that on the CD too. If it adds files to say the windows directory, then you're in for a hunt. Find them, note their location, copy it and hope for the best.
You'll have some trouble re-making the setup file if it did use the registry and system files. But it can be done. alternatively just shove the files on the CD with a readme.txt saying where each bunch of files go.
