    Resolved WinAmp skin install?

    For some reason one of my winamp skins with the file ext .wal won't install. The ones with .wsz install with no poblem.

    I changed the extension to .zip and uncompressed it. Now in the C:\Program Files\Winamp\Skins dir i have like four dirs. gold, Scripts, window, Xml which is the same in the WinAmp skin browser. None of these change the skin at all. The skin with the .wsz extension didnt need to be uncompressed at all. All that was needed was to put it in the skins dir and then change WinAmp skin options.

    post the file, and I'll try to load it. it may be a corrupt file, or the version may not work.

    Resolved

    I went from some older version to 5.05. I had 5.05 lite when the skin would not load so i uninstalled and went with the full version. When i uninstalled the skins were left. Good thing because when i went to the full version the setup asked what i wanted to use as the default skin. So all is well. Thanks.
