    windows media player problem - playlists.

    windows media player never plays songs in the right order for me! for example, i have an album of music on my pc, witht he names all beignning in 01, 02 etc. i click play all in explorer to queue them all up in media player. but then the first track to start playing is not track number 1! i've tried ordering the playlist by name, filename, album, artist, all them things, but to no avail. why won't albums play in the correct order?

    Have you tried updating to the latest version and seeing if it works in that? (Windows Media Player 10)
    I use Microsoft Visual Basic 2005. (Therefore, most code samples I provide will be based around the .NET Framework v2.0, unless otherwise specified)

    heh, read my other thread to see why i can't

    i just realised, i can play .avi files. but not mp3s of wmvs or anything...
