AMD, Intel(Quick Questions)
I want to know the answers to these specific questions...I dont want your opinion of either proccessor, i dont care which you think is better i just want these specific questions answered, and please post sources
Who made more money in 2004 AMD or INTEL?
What processor(s) does AMD have coming out in 2005?

According to this article, Intel made 1.7 billion new profit Q1 2004

Is the intel part sales or net income? Because i think what you meant was AMD's sales were 1.236 billion and net income was 32 million...

On the note of who made more money,
It seems logical to say intel will have made more money. There are to many companies that make thousands of computers that offer only intel. (Dell, Gateway)
As for what they are making in 2005, I think the only thing they have publically stated is continuing enhancements on the new 64 chips. They may have something else being developed but they aren't gonna say anything about it till its near ready for release so they dont tip off intel I'd suspect.

kk, that answered question #1, i kinda expected amd to make a little more than 32 mil, lol but meh...

32 million is still damn good though. Actually I would think the numbers are closer, maybe AMD winning, in the desktop market. Most intels profits probably come from the Enterprise server market.
