    Exclamation Subscribed Threads

I know this has to be an error! When I go to the user control panel
page to see my subscribed threads, I only get a single one! I
even tried changing the duration to "10 days" and still I only get
4 (I have about 300-400 posts for the last 10 days). It happens
on any system I use, at home or at work. I don't use the email
notification so I have no way of knowing when there is activity in
the threads I am a part of. Can you guys check this out for me?
Don't know if any ofther users are having trouble too?

Edit: Even this thread does not show up! Am I missing something
    here or ???

    Thanks.

I've turned off e-mail notification and I see nothing. Ever. Kind of lame, because I don't want e-mails (I get enough mail already and more would kill me).

I know, I was getting way too many emails on new reply to post
so I turned it off. Maybe that has something to do with it because
not too long after I turned it off I started noticing my list
dwindling down to one! I don't want to have to browse pages of
threads to find a thread from a few days ago. The thread starter
probably thinks we blow them off.

At the moment, for me the only way to find my participated threads is to go to the search page and put my name into the author field and push search.

When you have email notification on you should get only one notification of posts until you visit the thread again. I've see it happen that I get two or three from Chit Chat, but that may be due to the rapidity of the replys.

You can also go to your profile and select the link to show all posts made by you. You can actually go to anyone's profile and select the link for all posts by that person.

What range are you showing on the subscribed threads list in your profile? For example, mine only shows the last day. If I switch this to a larger range, I seem more of the threads I've been in.

If you are on the site, or get on the site I believe it resets the notification for a thread, meaning, you will get another one. If you are completley off the site, then you should only get one until the next time you are back on.

(Note that some moderators will get additional emails if they are set to receive notice whenever there is a post/thread in a forum they moderate).

Thats just it. If I select a longer duration I am still missing a whole
lot of threads. I was showing the 10 days duration and I only
show 4 threads? Over the last 10 days I have made about 300-
400 posts and at least 10 new threads by me. For the last day
duration - nothing shows at all now. Earlier when I made this
thread I have only one thread for the last day?

No actually true, when I am off the site I would receive numerous
emails on a single thread and one email for each post to each
thread. That is why I turned off the email notification.

It would be nice to be able to see subscribed threads without getting the e-mail notification, because I visit the forum often enough. Guess that'd require programming and I know you won't touch the forum code. In the other hand, I can look for my posts manually as I can see the black holes in the threads. So it isn't that big of a problem - just a thing that bugs a little bit.

And when I had the e-mail notification, I seemed to get more mail than I should - like if I happened to visit the forum, I got e-mails again. Just a small visit was enough.

From what I noticed (since I use the e-mail notification all the time), when you reply to a thread, you will get one e-mail notification for the first person that posts after you in thread, and after that it won't send you notifications no matter how many other people reply to that thread until you visit the thread. once you have visited the thread it starts all over, you get one e-mail, then it stops until you visit the thread, and so on...

P.S. Merri, did you read the PM i sent you a few days ago ? Now that I know that you are not getting e-mail notifications, i can assume you don't check your PMs often...

That's pretty much what I said and it's the way it should work. As for your question to Merri, you can look at your Message Tracking display to find out.
