    Mbps (Megabits Per Second)

    Hello,
I was just wondering how I calculate how fast my transferring of data is. It says 48.00 Mbps and stength like Very Good or whatever, but that's like just doing a test. I want to see how much is going out of my computer RIGHT at a SPECIFIC moment. For instance, I'm downloading something off the internet. I want to know how much that is taking out of my overall speed.

    Probably isn't clear enough.

    Thanks,
    Alacritous

To be really specific here, at any given moment in time there will be either 0 or 1 signals going out.

    Use a voltmeter

Count the jumps in the gauge

I've got one you can have. I have no clue how to work the thing. It just does lots of pretty patterns when you lick the leads.

    Not what I mean't. I know 802.11g is 52 Mbps.

    I solved it though.
