    Via8235

    Hi
    I have a VIA8235 sound card on my laptop.
    When running Linux, the sound is very loud, but when running Windows its at least twice as low. I have turned up all the volumes....any ideas??

    try and unmute and raise the volume of the headphone. read that it's a bug in the driver.
