    Cover note

I am going to apply for a job using Access, SQL Server and a bit of VB , i think my skills should easily reach the job requirements but this will be a good chance to get some experience for better jobs.

Anyway i need a cover note, any suggestions or templates that anybody has would be welcome.

The oft-used "Hire me or I'll slaughter you all! Muahahahaaaa!!!" is not advised in this case.
I don't live here any more.

When I was a programming manager we would get stacks of resumes for each new position. I can tell you that one-page, attention-grabbing resumes stood a better chance of getting noticed that multiple page ones. I may have overlooked good candidates but I just didn't have the time to go through multiple pages.
