How can I learn how to use ShBrowseForFolder?

I was looking for a way to browse for a folder and found all these ready to use codes here on the forum using ShBrowseForFolder.
I don't like using it by copy-pasting it. Where can I learn how to use it and write that code myself? Can you direct me to a tutorial or something like that?
