got no idea where to start...

need an input box , that not sure if its best to have item number or just paste the url (later probably easier)

and then a way of plucking out the current price.....

    ??

i'm willing to pay for something to start me off if that helps.....

only possible if you know what database ebay uses and the username/pass or you need to write an algorythm that gets the prices etc.

    Hello,
I havn't checked out an EBay page lately, but I suppose you need to download the source code for one of the auctions, and parse the HTML code (or other code they use). Then, find the price by searching for "Price:" (or whatever...) and then find what lies next to it.

    Hope this helps,
    Alacritous

hi , this is what i thought at first , should have been very easy , take a few line from round where the price is and your sorted...

but the source code on an paricular page doesnt seam to be real time....

i.e. , if the price is at £2.02 you would have tought that when loking at the source code you wouldnt see this , as it would be picked up ecternaly , but it is in the code , meaning the page isnt updated every time its refreshed , but more like re-created !!
