    Can i use ADO with VB 5.0
    If yes, what do i need to install on my machine.

    I've never done it but it should work I think. After all ADO is just a code library you set a reference to. Go to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads and get MDAC_TYP (2.6 is the latest) if you are using NT or DCOM98 if you are using 98 or 95. Instal it and you should be away.
