    Using thunderbird

    I'm trying to get thunderbird to get email from my univeristy account, but I've run into a few problems:

    What the hell am I doing?


    Ya, that pretty much sums it up. How do I figure out what server it;s on? Where do I put my password in? How does it get my mail if I don't my password in?

    go into uni (shock!) and look at the settings for their email program, then copy them.

    or just ask a techy.

    The email is set up through our university portal... IE you log in and get access to pretty much everything. (They still don't have it designed very well IMO, there's like 10 different systems that could be one...)
