Three hours??? Just three hours away? I've been living in a different country from home since I was 15 and haven't even met my family in millions of years (I will, though... in a few months). Tell her to go enjoy her freedom and independence. She can't be so dependent on others, she'll have to get accustomed to this eventually, especially when she moves in with you.
