    vs.net says asp.net 1.1 not installed

    I have installed VS.net and then enabled iis in xp pro. However when I try to create an asp.net project in vs.net it give me the error message:

    "vs.net has detected that the specified web server is not running ASP.net 1.1. You will be unable to run ASP.net web applications or services."

    Any help?

    install the framework sdk 1.1 or try

    C:\WINNT\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322\aspnet_regiis.exe -i

    change the dir to suit your windows folder I'm running 2000 so i have WINNT folder

    When the error message comes, click on the Help button. There's a whole bunch of stuff you can do to troubleshoot.
