[Resolved] function help Crystal reports
Hi!
I am new to Crystal Reports.
I have used up 2 days to find a resource that explains the different formula functions in Crystal Reports .NET. I have had no luck, and the help sucks big time.
Example:
CStr comes in, I think, 4 overloaded versions.
CStr(x)
CStr(x, y)
CStr(x, y, z)
CStr(x, y, z, w)
Are we supposed to guess what the argument z stands for?
I have by trial and error found out that the y argument is the formatstring for the function, but is it up to us to guess what format string syntaxes are allowed?
I have an inner wish that I just have missed something, that there really is an internal help resource in .NET or something like that. I am going crazy over here. =)
Can anyopne please point me in the right direction?

Forgive my ignorance, but where on that site do I find a full overview of for example the CStr function (what does the different arguments do, what format syntaxes can I use, what syntax do I write to get thousand separators but no decimals....)?

Thats interesting, how exactly did you find it? I have been searching for something similar but have had some problems finding such documentation.
