    Keyboard and mouse in NT

I have 2 questions, firstly is there any way in Windows NT 4 to not have a keyboard and mouse plugged in and to not get the annoying Windows message warning that there isn't one. It works fine on XP but not NT.

Secondly, how can i recover a machine that has had the keyboard and mouse drivers(or maybe services)removed/stopped? The machine boots fine but the keyboard and mouse are not working so i can't do anything. Already tried VGA mode but that doesn't work either. There is a LAN connection to the machine.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

In theory you could use a serial mouse... but then you're still stuck with the CTRL+ALT+DEL problem...

Ctrl-Alt-Del isn't a problem as the machine is set to auto logon and then runs our custom application. But all engineers only have PS/2 mouse and keyboard connections, and all serial ports are used.
