Please suggest a good external DVD writer
Could you please suggest a good external DVD writer?
Please mention where it is available (I'm in UK).
So far, I got only this one in Pc World
EMPREX EMP48003 EXTERNAL cost £100
It should fit with USB 1.0 port.
Thanks

My personal preference is with the Lite-on burners, I'd stay away from the LG ones, got an LG one and it is a real PITA. If you like, you can buy an internal one and then purchase a kit that allows you to mount an internal drive and use it as an external drive. These are usually cheaper than the external bought ones and allows for greater freedom of choice.
I use Microsoft Visual Basic 2005. (Therefore, most code samples I provide will be based around the .NET Framework v2.0, unless otherwise specified)

Oh! I've never considered that I can fix the internal drive on external kit! Could you please elaborate a bit?

They are hard to find but I see them reviewed from time to time in my computer mag. I'll see if I can find one...
