    Chip Set?

    Hello Everyone:

    Is there a way to tell what kind of chipset I have in my computer without cracking the case? If so how can I tell?

    Get a tool called "wcpuid" goto View -> Chipset Info...

    Should tell you what you need.

    The program I wrote about the other day displays among other things chipset info, also.

    Direct x

    tells me the chip info and device manager,if its windows o/s ,dont know about the rest
