I have a problem with it.. It does not support onclick event thus, my idea was to place a picture control underneath and use its onclick event instead.. It somehow doesn't work within my application, however, it does when I try it on a seperate project..
Any ideas?
Does anyone have a anygif control with an onclick event?
Can I add such an event to it? How ? Please help! It's urgent..

You said it works in different projects, but not your own; are you sure they're not different versions of the control?

Megatron is going to hate this...but
log onto http://www.planetsourcecode.com go to the vb zone and do a search on gif89. A number of copies reside there as well as a few replacement controls. Normally you can download a demonstration project (in zip format) with the control, and this may help. Have you looked at the properties of your control, may be as Meg says that version does not support this event.

Just a quick thought
Are the projects you have seen using the control, running on the same version of Windows.

Try planetsourcecode and see what you can find
Sorry l don't have the individual urls but do the search and you should get six or so postings. At least one uses a replacement for gif89.
