    running exe's server

Ok if i have created a game server client app, and i need a server to run the exe constently, is there any companies out there that do this?

or do i have to buy my own server and run it through my own connection,

There are plenty of companies that do this Will run you anywhere from $500 to $1000 per month.

    Is this a personal project?

If it is, just run it off your computer, and get the IP address out somehow. That's how I do it. (Clearly I'm very worried about hackers)
Don't pay attention to this signature, it's contradictory.

Because if it was cheap, any smoe could write a dangerous exe to fudge up the server.

You are not just paying for the high bandwidth connection and hardware, but insurance in case of malicious use because you are getting full control of that server.
