Do you have a Red Swingline?
I seen one the other day....I almost did it....I almost got it....
but then I was afraid someone would try to steal it, so I left it on the shelf....

I wonder how many charact
Funny you should mention a reference to OfficeSpace...
as about 3 days ago, our boss had left a note on the Project Lead's red stapler (not a Swingline, but whatever) reading "I'm going to need you to work this Saturday and Sunday, Thanks... ". A strange request because NO ONE ever comes in on the weekend.
Now, understand the Project Lead has been putting in 50hr weeks, hasn't taken vacation for over a year, hasn't received his promised pay raise yet (or annual review for that matter)..., has a child due to be born in about 3 weeks, and HAD made plans that weekend to go somewhere nice with his Wife before the baby came.
In his frame of mind, he totally missed the joke, and because he was irate by the time the rest of us got there, we never saw the stapler, just the note...
Needless to say, he was flailing arms about and stomping through the halls, huffing about, reading his employee handbook (to see if it was written he was REQUIRED to come in if requested), had already called his wife and complained... when finally, we persuaded him to call the boss and settle the whole thing.
And he did... and when he realized it was a joke, I was just thankful he hadn't had a heart attack from his high blood pressure condition.

If that had been me I would have stapled "I Quit" to the bosses testicles. Leaves no room for ambiguity.

By the way, my stapler is a Black Rapesco Compact. Fits nicely in the jacket pocket. Also available: shoulder and ankle holsters.
I don't live here any more.
