Why can't people be more specific when describing products???
Is this item a Radio or Infra-red wireless device?
If its infra-red then it's absolutely no use to me because of my furniture layout, if its radio then party on. The customer-service telephone droid is incapable of autonomous thought and says he doesn't know. He would have to open one of the packages from the warehouse to find out. I can't be arsed traipsing down to argos to go and have a look on the off-chance that it's radio.
I class this droid and persons like him in the User category (Userus intellectus minimus, Mac users also included) and they are in my opinion, not worthy to draw oxygen out of my atmosphere. Customer service is a misnomer.
Does anyone have one of these gadgets and is it line-of-sight (IR) or radio?
I'm losing faith in human nature.

No you......canine, there are 2 kinds of wireless, radio OR infra-red, neither of which use wires hence the term wireless!
[sarcasm=85%]
Since my mahogany coffee table does not permit even the wondrous infra-red spectrum to pass freely through it, I figured that would be a wise feature to avoid in any purchase of a wireless device suited to the living room.[/sarcasm]
I don't live here any more.

lol.. do yourself a favour and avoid shops like that if you have specific questions.
try looking on sites that specialise in this sort of thing (the only one I can think of & see from work is www.SpecialReserve.co.uk , and they dont seem to have one)

Ex-Super Mod'rater
Yea I googled it and they seem to all be Radio . For Example:
http://store.knbelectronics.com/g8090.html
http://products.consumerguide.com/cp...x.cfm/id/25342
http://shopping.kelkoo.co.uk/b/a/ss_...ontroller.html - I don't even see any IR ones on this listing my kelkoo .
Thing is it doesn't even tell you the make so you can't specificly look for it. My guess would be its radio though, A console controller working on Infa-red would not be very good even without coffee table .

true, especially if you play games like some people I've known - waving the controller around the same way they move the sticks!

The cord was the problem, my dog kept yanking it out of the front of the machine during the beat the clock level at the end of Halo.
That's one of the many reasons that dogs are rubbish.

Oh by the way ButtWadUK, my dog is female. Maybe you want I should hook you up eh? Reasonable prices, all needs catered for senor. She's pretty dirty, needs a good bath if you ask me. That costs extra though.

What type of bed has she got? Is it a plastic, bean bag or fabric?

yeah, I had a cat once, who would claw my leg to hell every time I hit him with a turtle shell in mario cart.
I finally had to just tell the cat that if they weren't going to play nice, he wouldn't be allowed to play at all.
You'll just have to do the same with your dog.
Even if you beat his high score.

She sleeps anywhere (bit of a slut) mostly on the leather sofa and in her wicker dog basket which has some old smelly towels in it and a fresh downy blanket. Plus anything else she can drag into it from outside (leaves, frisbees, tennis balls, frogs!).
Here's a tip, she'll do ANYTHING for an applecore. Although she always spits the pips out on the floor (typical female).
