Make MP3's smaller?
Ive been converting WMA to MP3 (CD quality) to put on a CD for my CD player. Most of the WMA's are 10Mb but once converted to MP3 are about 55Mb. I realise that, Quality > Large size, but if they are not CD quality they dont load into Nero.
So do i need a Encoder or something to shrink them back down to 10Mb (i.e there original WMA size but in MP3)?
Cheers

converting to MP3 causes a data loss that cannot be converted back. hope that you still have the old WMA files. they can be converted to CD

you can compress them down to smaller size but you will obviously loose quality,
music match jukebox will compress them for you

If all else fails, just use windows media player to do it (seriously).
It converts files and burns em fine, i've never had a problem with it.

I had absolutely no idea this was true, and I am not going to believe this until I try it out myself.

Instead of insulting it, if you look, it is a very good app. 10 is even better.
I use Microsoft Visual Basic 2005. (Therefore, most code samples I provide will be based around the .NET Framework v2.0, unless otherwise specified)
