    Confirm?

This is the first time I've done 3-dimensional geometry and I was just wondering if you guys could confirm some of this. All my work is in the picture.

It represents the triangular section of a house on a roof (you know, where you would normally have a window on the roof?)

Anyways, I calculated the area that would be subtracted from the roof (the area of the bottom of the shape) and the area added (the two top sides), as well as the "seams" (a).

All the angles are expressed as pitch, pitch is ... uhm, I'll put the diagram in the pic. The pitch factors are considered to be one of the short sides of a right triangle which has another side with length 12.

Don't pay attention to this signature, it's contradictory.

    Confirm?

Well...the third line has a small error. You used h=xp/12, whereas it is actually h=bp/12 ... Didn't check any farther.
