Is this easily done? **Resolved**
Hi, when my application loads it generates a webpage which is displayed inside the application. This usually take a few seconds or longer depending on the ammount of information in the database, speed of link etc etc.
Is there a way to get the app to generate the page and allow the user to continue working with other stuff while it is all going on, rather than having to wait until it has finished and displayed?
Hope that makes sense!
Thanks.

This sounds like just the job for threads.

Yeah. Threads sound good.
Make you app load up in the normal way but early on in the load event, spawn a new thread that generates the HTML and updates the display control with it. Hopefully the user will not be inconvenienced by background processing.
