Did there used to be one? Are you on about the Combo box at the bottom of the page? Thats the only one I use but didn't know non-moderators could close threads .
When your thread has been resolved please edit the original post in the thread ( )
and amend "-[RESOLVED]-" to the end of the title and change the icon to , Thank you.
When posting Code use the [VBCode]Code Here[/VBCode] tags to be able to use the code highlighting.

I've been able to close threads in all the forums except Chit Chat via the admin options box at the bottom. Unless I'm a moderator and don't know about it I guess normal members can/could close threads.
Now the only forum that has that box is Chit Chat, where you have never been able to close threads.
The only reason I close mine is becuase I have had a couple of my threads hijacked in the past.

I only get the "Do not have Permission" in Chit Chat where the Admin box is visible.
In all other forums - its just not there. Previously it was and it would let you open and close threads.
And THAT thread: I try to close it everyday, hopefully one day the forums defenses will be down and I'll succeed.

As long as its not "That Thread" then you could ask a mod with permission in that forum (Admins or Jamie) if there is reason for it .

You need to get a moderator to close threads for you.

Speaking of closing threads; how long have all the forums been locked when you're not logged in?

I'd have thought always. Guests can't post

I know they can't post. I asked how long the forums had been locked, they never used to have little padlocks on the icons.
