using crystal reports in visual studio.net

Good day.

Im an intermediate programmer in visual basic.net and im developing a program that includes reporting. I havent used crystal reports before so searched for tutorials.

Ive created a simple report. The problem is, i dont know how to group or select data from visual basic.net. For example, i created a datepicker control in which the user could select the date range for the data to be displayed on the report after pressing a button.

I dont know how to manipulate the crystal report viewer by code, just the report source. So anyone can help me with it? I need a tutorial about this.
