How can I create a gorgeous Mac OS X 10.3 Brushed metal style Windows form and a 'genie'' (icon bulging) effect with a button or form using VB.NET code and instrinic controls only?

By definition, you can't. But you can do it if you derive your own versions of the intrinsic control classes.
Learn the 3 OOP paradigms, learn them well.

I think , there are some owner-drawn controls that mimic Mac style and colors on Codeproject.com .
